GNOCCHI IN CHEESE SAUCE
You will need:
500 g potato gnocchi (fresh or store-bought)
200 g cream cheese
100 ml cooking cream
1 clove garlic
30 g butter
50 g grated parmesan
salt, pepper
nutmeg (optional)
fresh parsley for sprinkling
Preparation:
Cook the gnocchi in salted water according to the instructions, until they float to the surface, then drain them well. In a pan, melt the butter and briefly sauté the garlic. Add the cream cheese and cooking cream, stirring until combined. Stir in the parmesan, season with salt and pepper, and add a little nutmeg if desired. Add the cooked gnocchi to the sauce and gently stir to combine everything. Serve hot, sprinkled with chopped parsley and extra parmesan if desired.
